Contract cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations

Please note that goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (made to measure) CANNOT be cancelled, refunded or exchanged.

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS

All orders made through this website are subject to acceptance in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below. An order made through this website only becomes binding once it has been accepted by Fabric & Co. Before placing an order, it is the responsibility of yourself to check that the details of your order (specifications, measurements, dimensions, product features, access and delivery) are correct and suitable to your requirements.

Every effort will be made by Fabric & Co to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products which appear on our website are accurate and updated at the point at which the information is uploaded onto our website. We will endeavour to keep the website as up to date as possible, however, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.

MADE TO MEASURE

Made to measure curtains, roman blinds and roller blinds are personalised and made specifically to your measurements, as such, they CANNOT cancelled, refunded or exchanged (unless faulty).

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right to cancel.

It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete measurements when ordering Made To Measure Products.

We are not liable for any inaccurate and/or incomplete measurements provided.

We always recommend that you thoroughly consult our measuring guide/s (link) before ordering. These are comprehensive and we recommend you consult these before committing to any purchase.

Always double check your order details before placing an order.

As a gesture, Fabric & Co will allow a 48 hour period before processing any made to measure order. If you wish to cancel your order this is the time in which to do so. Please submit this by email (including a request for a ‘read receipt') and confirm we have received your notice of cancellation, by telephone.

After this 48 hour period we will begin to make up your order and any cancellations cannot be accepted.

Disclaimer

The diversity of fabrics on our website represents many different weaves, weights and compositions of cloth. Each will respond differently once they are made up, as such we cannot guarantee that fabrics will not shrink/stretch or twist once they are hung / fitted.

An example: Roman Blinds

A set of stab stitches are used to anchor the face fabric to the thermal blackout lining. (A technique we use to avoid horizontal lines of stitching.) Were the individual stab stitch connects to the face fabric there will be an unavoidable point where light can penetrate the blackout lining, resulting in dots of lights.

Any difference between orders is a consequence of the weight, weave and composition of the specific fabrics chosen to be made up.
