Curtains are still one of the most popular window treatments, whether they are just for show or fully functioning, they immediately soften and finish a room. Fabric & Co. provide a bespoke curtain making service where we use your measurements to make up your curtains in a fabric of your choice. All our curtains are finished to the highest possible standard. We offer pencil pleat gathered headings or hand finished double, triple and goblet pleats.
They can be simply lined with our 200gsm crease resistant lining or Ezedrape blackout (both in ivory) or go the extra mile and have them interlined. The interlining not only gives the fabric more weight and body, making them more luxurious but also helps with heat and sound insulation, as well as protecting the fabric. All curtains are finished with mitred and weighted corners.
Pencil pleat curtains have are a simple gathered heading, which have an informal look. This is an ideal heading for smaller windows perhaps in cottages or in bedrooms.
Hand finished headings are a more formal and decorative heading. This kind of pleat is more tailored and looks at its best hung beneath a pole, below the rings. By hanging the curtains below the rings the curtains will concertina into a neat 'stack back' which is perfect for windows which have limited space either side and also for optimising light in room.
Roller Blinds are both a practical and decorative options for a window treatment. In kitchens and bathrooms they offer a functional solution but under a pelmet or neatly fitted into a window recess they also have a clean, sharp and attractive finish.
Roman Blinds are a popular alternative to curtains, they can be neatly fitted inside or outside the window recess and are both practical and decorative.
